D'Amico's Slice of Italy D'Amico's Slice of Italy is a family-style and family-friendly pizzeria in the tradition of the great Neapolitan pizza houses of New Haven, New York, and New Jersey. It is located at the Village Green Plaza, Route 202 in Litchfield. The pizza has won praise from noted food critics, such as Peter Elliott (James Beard award-winning food critic of Bloomberg network), and Marion Burros of the New York Times. D’Amico’s was also the only Litchfield County pizzeria featured in Connecticut Magazine’s “In Search of the Perfect Pizza”.
